Gom Paraclete Press Submission Guidelines

Our conventional publishing operation is handled by our Gom Paraclete Press Division. “Paraclete” is from the Latin Paracletus, or Paraclitus, and literally means “an advocate.” With this track, Gom Paraclete Press accepts the risk required to publish those who wish to be serious authors but are not yet able to attract the attention of a large conventional publisher.

Since Gom Paraclete Press assumes all publishing costs and responsibilities for their published books, we are limited by the number of manuscripts we can choose for this track and heavily screen all submissions. Keep in mind that if authors wish to pursue this track, they are encouraged to have their work looked over by a professional editor. Completed manuscripts that are not professionally edited will have a harder time passing the screening. (See our Pre-Editing Tips (PDF format) for our basic pre-editing standards).

Do not send original manuscripts as we cannot be responsible for them.
